You confirm that you own or have the right to post it, and that it does not break any law or the rights of others. We may edit, remove or refuse to publish any comment at our discretion, including content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, misleading, spam or off-topic. Comments express the views of their authors, not those of Newspage.

If you send us tips, photos, videos or other material, you confirm that the material is yours to share and that it is, to the best of your knowledge, truthful and lawful. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, edit and publish the material in any media. 7. Advertising and sponsored content

The Site carries advertising, and may carry sponsored or partner content, which helps fund our journalism. Advertisers do not control our editorial decisions. Sponsored content will be clearly labelled where applicable. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or for dealings you have with advertisers. Any such dealings are between you and the advertiser.

The Site may link to or embed websites, social media posts and other content that we do not own or control. We do not endorse them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. You access them at your own risk.

9. Accuracy and corrections

We work to report accurately and fairly, but news develops quickly and errors can occur. Content on the Site is provided for general information and is not professional, legal, medical or financial advice. If you find an error, email us with a link to the article and we will review it and publish a correction where appropriate.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors or harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Newspage, its owners, editors, contributors and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage, or for any loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or from your reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Newspage and its owners, editors and contributors harmless from any claim, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from content you submit, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another person.
