Bandits attacked and killed two individuals and kidnapped 21 others in a recent assault on Akwando village in Kuturmiland, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The assault befell in the early hours of Wednesday, November 4, 2026, when locals have been sleeping in their respective properties.
The recent assault has renewed fears over persistent assaults on residents and has additional worsened the safety state of affairs in the state.
Neither the Kaduna State (*21*) Command nor the Ministry for Internal Security and Home Affairs has made any public assertion on the event.
But a reputable supply who spoke to DAILY POST confirmed the incident, saying that the abductors entered Akwando village, Kuturmiland in Kachia LGA Kaduna State in the early hours of Wednesday and killed two and kidnapped 21 individuals.
According to him, “Members of the affected community are nonetheless apprehensive over the incidents. As we communicate, the bandits haven’t made any demand.”
