The National Democratic Congress (NDC) governorship candidate in Bauchi State for the 2027 normal elections, Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim, has resigned his membership of the social gathering with fast impact.
Kashim introduced his resignation in a letter dated October 16, 2026, addressed to the chairman of the NDC in Bauchi native authorities space of Bauchi State which was made accessible to Journalists on Monday.

Kashim, a former Secretary to the Bauchi State Government (SSG) below Governor Bala Abdukadir Mohammed’s administration, was among the many 15 governorship candidates just lately listed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2027 normal elections within the state.
Recall that the NDC had offered Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim as its governorship candidate, with Tata Alhaji as his operating mate, for the 2027 governorship election in Bauchi State.

Meanwhile, in a message to his supporters, Kashim mentioned his exit from the NDC doesn’t diminish his dedication to the wrestle for a greater Bauchi State.
