The decomposing body of an unidentified man has been found by troops of Operation Ensuring Peace, OPEP, in an deserted constructing behind a major college in Jwakom Village, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Security analyst, Zagazola Makama, in a publish on X quoted sources saying that the invention was reported at about 1:40 pm on Sunday, October 25, 2026, prompting troops of Sector 8 OPEP to reply to the scene.
Makama defined that the troops confirmed the presence of a decomposing male corpse. Efforts to ascertain the id of the deceased had been unsuccessful.
He added, “The corpse was subsequently recovered and handed over to the youth chief of Jwakom for essential motion.”
Makama acknowledged that investigations are ongoing to ascertain the id of the deceased and decide the circumstances surrounding his dying, whereas authorities are anticipated to take additional motion as extra particulars emerge from the investigation.
