An kidnapped man, Ahmed Abubakar Zakka and his spouse, alongside their six-month-old daughter, Fatima, have regained their freedom.
According to Daily Trust, they regained freedom on Thursday and had been on their approach again to Kaduna metropolis.
A retired safety officer who had been working along with his workforce to safe their launch confirmed the event.
The retired safety personnel, who pleaded anonymity, mentioned the victims had been returning dwelling in a automobile along with his driver.
“Yes, they are on their way back home with my driver. It was the efforts of my team and some private individuals that led to their release,” he mentioned.
Zakka, his spouse and their six-month-old daughter had been kidnapped from their dwelling in Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on October 6, 2026.
Days later, a video exhibiting Zakka and his daughter in captivity surfaced on-line, triggering widespread outrage.
