The suspects have been arrested in Ibadan, the state capital.
The command made these declarations through an announcement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Ayanlade.
The assertion was made obtainable to DAILY POST on Tuesday.
Ayanlade in the assertion defined that the suspects have been arrested in reference to the murder of Kehinde Asimiyu, following a deadly altercation in the Olodo space of Ibadan.
According to the assertion: “In the course of the Police intervention and subsequent investigation, two suspects have been arrested. They are Taiwo Babarinde, suspected to have inflicted the deadly harm on the deceased, and Ishola Semiu, suspected of involvement in the incident.
“Both suspects are at present in Police custody, whereas the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Iyaganku, Ibadan, for complete investigation.”
