President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned the homicide of distinguished Islamic preacher, Sheikh Yahaya Ibrahim Masussuka, and his good friend, Adamu Abubakar, in Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State.
The gunmen killed the duo in a drive-by taking pictures incident on Monday night.
The President, who was deeply saddened by the information of the killing, described the act as heinous and an assault on the values of peace and sanctity of human life.
President Tinubu extends his heartfelt condolences to the households of the deceased, their followers, in addition to the federal government and folks of Katsina State, over the tragic loss.
The President has directed the Nigeria Police Force and different related safety companies to maneuver swiftly, intensify efforts already underway by the Katsina State Police Command, and make sure the perpetrators are tracked down, apprehended, and delivered to justice.
President Tinubu prays for the repose of the souls of the departed and for consolation for all those that mourn their loss of life.
