President Bola Tinubu has obtained copies of the proposed 2027 United Nations, UN, budget from Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Jimoh Ibrahim.
Ibrahim introduced the seven-volume budget to Tinubu on the State House in Abuja on Sunday, October 18, 2026.
Expressing his pleasure throughout the assembly, Tinubu instructed the ambassador, “I am proud of you.”
Ibrahim, who chairs the UN Committee on Budget and Administrative Matters, defined that though the proposed budget remains to be topic to scrutiny and approval by member states, presenting it to the Nigerian chief was important.
